HUGE shift of consciousness

I just realised… If I’m taking my bike on the train, I don’t have to take the train which arrives just before the bus leaves. Because I don’t have to go on the bus. Because I have my bike.

You wouldn’t know how much effort it cost to think this up :)

I can also happily report that not only did I survive the shoe-shopping, I got a pair of boots and a pair of shoes which I am very happy with, and with 70 euros of budget to spare! 12 of which I then used to buy J lunch as a thank you. (My personal shopper cost me 6.62 an hour, which I think is tremendously cheap, considering he’ll be a Ph.D. in a year and all.)
